Navagraha: Planetary Mantras + Astrology

  • Course
  • 42 Lessons

Self-Paced journey into the ancient Vedic wisdom of the Navagraha (the 9 planets) and embody this wisdom through the power of their mantras.

Every planet holds a vibrational sound

Also known as a mantra that allows us to embody and experience the energy of their divine energy (as light slowed down into vibration).

These mantras were developed by the ancient Rishi’s (enlightened beings) of India while in deep meditation as they came to see, feel and hear the planetary energies that govern the movements of destiny on earth.

These mantras are also there to help us heal and strengthen the energy of the planets in our own natal chart.

What is this course?

Over 9 weeks (done in your own time) together we will dive into the ancient wisdom of the Navagraha (the 9 planets) and embody this wisdom through the power of mantra.

Each section is around 60 minutes where will work with one of the planets, and you will learn about its energy (as written in the ancient texts of India), and then go on to experience what the Rishi’s (enlightened beings) were writing about through learning the correct breath, timing and placement of the tongue to feel this planetary influence and start the process of accessing it’s wisdom through this profound sādhana.

What you will learn?

Over 9 weeks together online (this course is also available as a replay which will be posted within 24 hours on the course dashboard)

What's the Syllabus?

Here's a quick look at week-by-week structure for the Navagraha container.

Week 1: The Sun (Sūrya)

We start with the centre of our solar system - Sūrya. The illuminator and the representation of our soul.

Week 2: The Moon (Candra)

In our second week we'll look at the other luminary the Moon (often seen as a secondary aspect of the Sun).

Week 3: Mars (Maṅgala)

In our 3rd week we'll dive into the firey planet Mars, known for it's life force, vitality as well as it's nature to call forth conflict.

Week 4: Mercury (Budha)

In our 4th week we look at the child of the Moon - Mercury - who represents the other aspect of mind...the intellect.

Week 5: Jupiter (Bṛhaspati)

In week 5 we meet the 1st of the 2 Guru's of the Navagraha (9 planets) - Jupiter - and work with his mantra for wisdom, enlightenment and spiritual growth.

Week 6: Venus (Śukra)

In week 6 we meet our 2nd Guru Venus, who operates as a teacher of the material world - relationships, money and helps us move through our desires.

Week 7: Saturn (Śani)

In our 7th week we work with the Lord of Karma, Saturn. This is arguably the planet we all need to balance within our charts in order to find inner liberation.

Week 8: North Node (Rāhu)

In our second last week we look at the first of the shadow planets - Rahu - the north node of the Moon. This planet in Vedic astrology is often seen a lot like Saturn, which shows us where we block our own inner light.

Week 9: South Node (Ketu)

In our final week we'll work with the South Node of the Moon called Ketu, who holds within it past life mastery, and shows us the karma we must work through for our own liberation.
